  • How do I get support for my benchmarking products?

    The easiest way is to email your detailed problem / question to benchmarks@fmrc.com.au. We aim to respond to all support requests within 24 hours via email and/or phone. Please ensure you have all appropriate information in the email (e.g. contact details, screen shots, error messages, etc).

    If it is urgent, please contact us via phone on 02-9262 3377. 

  • Office 2003 / 2007 Security: I can not see the Menu "Benchmarks"

    The security settings in Office can supress the code execution required to install the menu structure when starting the Business Benchmark Solution. Please change the Security Level from "High" to "Medium" (Office 2003) or "Enable all Macros" (Office 2007).

    To change the setting, in:

    Office 2003 - please start Excel, then go to Tools - Macros - Security

    and set the security level to "Medium", then click OK

    Start the Benchmarking Solution and the menu will appear after you confirm code execution

     

    Office 2007 - please start Excel, then click on the Ribbon "Developer"

    Click on  "Macro Security"

    and set the level to "Enable all macros" 

    Start the Benchmarking Solution and the menu will appear within the Ribbon "Add-Ins" (see separate FAQ below) 

  • Office 2007: I can not see the Menu "Benchmarks"

    Office 2007 replaced the menu bar with a new ribbon system. To find the Benchmark "Menu", please click on the Add-Inns Ribbon. In there you will find the Benchmarks menu as you are used to it.

     

     

  • I can not unprotect the workbook and sheets in the Excel files

    This is by design. The password protection on the Excel sheets is to protect FMRCs IP (data and programm code) in the product. If you want to rebrand or change the output, please copy and paste the excel sheets using 'Paste Special' and only copy Values and Formats. Doing so will give you the same data in an unprotected sheet.
